Cara Carmichael (@carmichael01), Canadian Female Fishing Angler, shares her key tips when you find yourself fishing the same water season after season -
If I were to fish the same body of water from spring to fall once a week for the entirety I would notice it fishes different every time.
For example, from the spawn and being on beds vs fall when they are feeding heavy. Here are some key points to keep in mind when breaking down a body of water.
-Constant movement is the key to successfully finding more Bass
-Time of year (Pre Spawn, Spawn, Post Spawn)
- Presence of Baitfish
-Don’t fish memories (“You once caught a fish here”)
-Water clarity
-Knowledge of the body of water. (ie: depth, structures and cover, etc.)
-Find healthy green weed
-Weather conditions
